Our CAQ system enables

  • Coupling to IT system

Our CAQ system is linked to our existing EDP system (or ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning) and ensures smooth process transitions through efficient data exchange.

  • Supplier evaluation

The supplier rating enables us to evaluate our proven partners and possible new suppliers according to their individual suitability, in accordance with our company-specific rating procedure. The aim is to have a qualified classification available at all times. In this way, we ensure that we can act in good time should quality or process difficulties arise.

  • Production inspection / SPC

Statistical process control (SPC) helps us to monitor and improve the production process in a time and quantity-controlled manner. Based on our SPC measurements, we have key figures at our disposal which allow us to optimise our production processes - in doing so, a possible cause of error is identified, avoided and our profitability as well as the quality of your article is guaranteed.

  • Incoming goods / outgoing goods inspection

Incoming and outgoing goods inspections are an obligation for our company, which is associated with a lot of effort.

Only an inspection based on sophisticated inspection plans provides certainty about the quality of the goods and minimises the risk of a defective delivery or complaint.

With our CAQ system, we plan the inspection processes for incoming and outgoing goods in an effective and practice-oriented manner. In doing so, we create clearly structured, efficient inspection processes. In addition, any corrective measures can be defined, the tracking of which is guaranteed via the central measures management.

  • Drawings / CAD integration

Drawing information is an essential component for planning quality inspections: If the drawings are available in a standardised CAD exchange format (dxf or dwg file), we can use our CAQ system to convert drawing characteristics and dimensions from drawings into quality-relevant inspection characteristics for inspection planning or initial sample inspection at the push of a button.

Especially when creating initial sample inspection reports, the CAD integration contributes significantly to the minimisation of effort: We uniquely identify inspection characteristics via automatic or manual stamping of the drawing. To support the inspection process, the position of each characteristic on the drawing is displayed in a comprehensible way - transparency and unambiguity are thus ensured.

  • Test equipment management

In addition to test equipment management, the test equipment capability study provides proof that a piece of test equipment or test system is suitable for a specific measuring task under real operating conditions. This is not only dependent on the device, but also on the operating personnel. The suitability of a piece of test equipment is determined by its accuracy, linearity, stability, traceability and repeatability.

With the test equipment management, we have a comprehensive instrument for the clear test equipment management, test equipment monitoring, test equipment capability testing and maintenance of our test equipment. These are clearly labelled and assigned to a gauge type according to the design.

To ensure that only test equipment with guaranteed test equipment capability is used at Berotec, we carry out tests at sensible intervals. Depending on the task and place of use, our test equipment is subjected to different stresses. If they are subject to increased wear, for example, we dynamically adjust the defined time interval.
